Lightbeam 3.2.0
Unravel the chaos

June 26, 2025

One big circle surrounded by six smaller circles which are connected with the big one through lines

Does Lightbeam in your browser look like the greatest chaos sometimes? You unravel the nodes of the graph to be able to see which nodes are connected but the nodes are drawn to each other again and you cannot recognize anything? Then here is a way how can achieve a better overview.

The sidebar on the right side of Lightbeam with new options

A new tab of the sidebar on the right includes new options that you can adjust so the graph behaves differently. You can slow down nodes even until they stop so you can move specific nodes while the others will stand still in their place. The other two options allow to set how strong nodes are drawn to each other and the center of the graph. They also allow you to adjust Lightbeam in a way that makes it more pleasant for you.

Have fun experimenting!
